SV	Er was niets in de ark, dan alleen de twee stenen tafelen, die Mozes bij Horeb daarin gelegd had, als de HEERE [een verbond] maakte met de kinderen Israels, toen zij uit Egypteland uitgetogen waren.

Trans.	’ên bā’ārwōn raq šənê luḥwōṯ hā’ăḇānîm ’ăšer hinniḥa šām mōšeh bəḥōrēḇ ’ăšer kāraṯ JHWH ‘im-bənê yiśərā’ēl bəṣē’ṯām mē’ereṣ miṣərāyim:

AC	ט אין בארון רק שני לחות האבנים אשר הנח שם משה בחרב--אשר כרת יהוה עם בני ישראל בצאתם מארץ מצרים
ASV	There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
BE	There was nothing in the ark but the two flat stones which Moses put there at Horeb, where the Lord made an agreement with the children of Israel when they came out of the land of Egypt.
